We are seeking a dynamic Senior Venue Technician to join our team. This full-time position (with potential part-time options for the right candidate) offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the technical success of productions hosted in Council venues.
The Senior Venue Technician will play a critical role in providing comprehensive production support, with a primary focus on planning and executing technical requirements for diverse locations, including the Town Hall Theatre, Market Square Pavilion, civic events supported by Council, and smaller venue bookings in the Parnaple Centre. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role will provide daily direction to technicians and requires a deep understanding and management of concert production, sound, lighting, audio-visual equipment, and relevant mechanical systems or live performances and events.
