We are looking for someone awesome to join the ‘Tech Team’ at BREC (Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre)! A Full-Time position is currently available for an experienced theatre technician /operator to join us in our newly expanded Centre.
Technical professionals with experience as an operator in theatre lighting and/or audio will be considered and a specialist in either would be preferred. This is a senior role and the applicant will need to offer a high level of support to the Technical Manager. Salary range is LPA Award Level 5: $38,800 to LPA Level 10: $42,600 depending on experience. A nominal amount may be available to assist with interstate re-location by negotiation with the successful applicant.
The Bunbury Regional Entertainment centre has an 800 seat proscenium arch theatre with an auditorium consisting of stalls and balcony level, a fly tower, orchestra pit and rehearsal room.
In 2014 our expansion project will be complete bringing on line a second 242 seat studio venue, 3 function rooms, commercial kitchen and refurbished facilities.
Being a regional venue our staff are expected to work in more than one area and will need to be an ‘all-rounder’. We anticipate people will have a specialist area of skill and we are also looking for people who are either multi skilled or willing to expand their knowledge into other areas.
