Please note:
This is a part time role that will work a roster of 32 hours per fortnight across Monday to Sunday to meet the demands of the venue. Additional hours may be offered at times subject to operational needs.

The role
Your responsibilities will include leading a technical team to deliver well executed productions and events in accordance with technical specifications and acting as a point of contact for technical matters by providing sound advice, innovation and problem solving for management. You will perform technical and operational duties related to lighting, sound and other technical systems, including the operation of such systems during performances.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you must possess a current Apply First Aid Certification and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification and current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card or willingness to apply for prior to commencing work and provide evidence of suitability within 2 months of engagement. You will demonstrated ability to perform visual inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in line with legislative and best practice requirements.

Work Location
Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council’s work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
