We are seeking a full-time Senior Technician with expert knowledge of video systems and a passion for delivering exceptional live event experiences. Based at our Botany warehouse in Sydney’s inner south, you will play a key role in our technical operations – from pre-production through to on-site delivery and pack-down.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading the setup, operation and removal of specialist video production systems at live events
• Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting across:
- LED screens
- Projection systems
- Media servers
- Video switchers & Camera systems
- Network infrastructure
• Collaborating with project managers, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Mentoring junior crew and sharing knowledge across the team
• Participating in WHS consultations and helping maintain a safe, healthy working environment
• Managing event equipment logistics including truck loading/unloading and on-site handling
• Travelling for projects across Australia and New Zealand as required
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
• Proven experience in live events or broadcast environments – particularly in music touring
• Strong technical understanding of video production systems
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Comfortable with physically demanding work, lifting equipment, and outdoor conditions
• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate clearly on-site
Highly Regarded:
• Experience with inventory software (we use EasyJob)
• Prior experience in touring, corporate AV, studio or large-scale event environments
• Industry certifications in rigging, plant operation or WHS (training provided if not held)
• Working with Children and Police Check certifications
