A significant opportunity has arisen with Harry the Hirer Productions’ Victorian team in the role of Senior Productions Technician. Reporting to our Operations Management team, this full-time role is instrumental in all phases of technical production including prep, bump-in/out and operation of events.
With Harry’s Productions’ equipment investment envied across our industry, you’ll be working with this line-up:
- 2mm Curved & 4mm Outdoor LED screens
- AnalogWay Ascender, Blackmagic and Roland vision switching
- Robe, Martin and Chauvet moving lights & LED statics
- MA 2 and MA 3 lighting consoles
- D&B & Nexo loudspeaker systems
- Digico and A&H digital audio consoles
- Over 5 kilometres of Box and Tri Truss
- Over 500 CM Motors
Your technical background will be proven in the fields of video and AV. You will be required to install, pack down, operate and manage both permanently installed and mobile equipment on a show by show basis.
Our office is based in Brooklyn, Victoria with events executed across the Melbourne CBD, regional Victoria and nationally. Applicants must be available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Requirements for the position:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the audio visual industry.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Hard working and always willing to go the extra mile for our clients.
- Able to present well in corporate environments.
- Current manual driver’s license (comfortable driving 3T trucks)
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends at event locations.
- Industry certifications highly regarded.
- Current residence or visa to work in Australia
