Council is seeking a talented Senior Production Technician specialising in audio to work as part of a team to deliver the highest quality technical services across Rockhampton’s various venues.
Enjoy benefits in this position such as a 38 hour base week on a 7 day roster, with the opportunity to work overtime and accrue TOIL on an as needs basis. As part of this role you will be required to work weekends and outside normal business hours.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

- Construction Industry Induction (White Card), Elevated Work Platform Licence, High Risk Forklift Licence (LF), Working with children (Blue Card) and High Risk Licence for Dogging, Basic Rigging & Intermediate Rigging.

Application Criteria
- Certificate III Live Production, Theatre & Events (or equivalent industry qualification) and significant experience within a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of technical systems specialising in the operation of audio and AV equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with ability lead and supervise teams to ensure event requirements are delivered within required timeframes.
- Strong focus on safety with the ability to undertake risk assessments and identify hazards in everyday tasks.
