NEP Australia is currently looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all broadcast television equipment and systems.
The position
This full time position is based on site at our Homebush Warehouse with flexible business hours during the week. The successful candidate needs to be a passionate electronics person who enjoys component level repairs as well as working with the latest broadcast technologies.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Repair and maintain broadcast television systems and equipment un-assisted to component level, on or off site.
• Test and evaluation of new equipment and systems
• Assist with the design and build of new specialty camera systems.
• Perform complex modifications to television equipment.
• Supervise lower-level Engineers in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• This role involves doing some kind of manual tasks. These include lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying of broadcast equipment.
Required skills and attributes:
• Completed an Electronics Certificate at a tertiary level
• At least 10 years’ work experience within the Electronics field
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Advanced computer skills
• Exceptional Customer Service and a can-do attitude.
