VJAM is on the hunt for a lighting superstar to join our team. The role will include planning, setting up, operating, and packing down small to large lighting systems for a multitude of events. When we’re not working with our clients on their events, you can find us in the warehouse, maintaining equipment, preparing shows and furthering skills to provide our clients with cutting-edge solutions. ??
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Comprehensive skills and experience (minimum 5 years) in professional lighting services.
- Good working knowledge of lighting equipment including:
- Lighting network setup and distribution
- Moving light fixtures – setting, addressing and troubleshooting
- Intelligent lighting fixtures including LED technology and strobes etc.
- Conventional lighting and lamp maintenance
- System fault finding
- Ability to operate market-leading lighting consoles and associated programs. (MA lighting and Hog)
- Ability to assemble, operate, test and adjust Lighting equipment according to project and client needs.
- Ability to maintain Lighting equipment such as Fixtures, power distribution, dimmer, consoles (MA and Hog)
- Experience in installing lighting equipment.
- Experience in executing medium-to-high scale corporate projects.
- Experience in event management is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to assist and advise clients on their event
- Self-driven individual who can work productively and lead a team.
- Experience working with touring shows and LD’s.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- High standard of personal presentation.
- This role may be required to assist across departments as required (AV, Audio Staging etc)
