At Select AV BNE we are on the hunt for both an intermediate and senior AV tech’ to fill two full time full positions, starting immediately.
In response to rapid expansion and a substantial workload throughout 2019, we are now calling on all AV Tech’s (local & interstate) who are seeking both a change and a challenge to join our team.

With our core products and services firmly entrenched in live corporate event production, you will need to display the flexibility, passion and professionalism that is mandatory when working in the live events industry. Oddball hours can and will be par for the course, it’s the game we are in, therefore you will need to be comfortable working some weeknights & weekends.
Impeccable presentation and communication skills are also a must, as your days will be spent partnering with technical directors, PCO’s, hospitality professionals, and of course, your team mates in all things technical.
Recent and ongoing experience across audio / vision & lighting is absolutely essential. You will need to possess a sound knowledge of high end vision switching equipment, modern digital audio consoles, while an up to date knowledge and experience with basic and intelligent lighting and programming will be highly regarded. Ongoing training is available in-house and staged regularly to ensure best practices are adhered to for our event partners each time we step into show. The ability to work at times under pressure will also serve you well, as this can be the case with live events.
Excellent packages are on offer, along with outstanding state of art workshop & warehouse facilities at our Woolloongabba premises. A current Australian manual drivers licence is also necessary, with EWP / Riggers a major bonus.
