Senior Audio Visual Technician (Casual)

Boasting an extensive range of cutting edge technology, the Adelaide Convention Centre as part of the Adelaide Venue Management Corporation is seeking Senior Audio Visual Technicians (casual) to join the Technology Operations team in proactively executing Event requirements.

Purpose of Role

Delivery of effective and efficient set-up, operation and breakdown of the audio visual components of client events, on a daily basis. Operate equipment during events in either areas of Audio, Lighting and/or Vision systems.

Successful applicants will be required to:
Demonstrated advanced skill base in one of the following areas;

  • Audio
  • Lighting
  • Vision
  • IT / Comms
  • Provide Technology Support for all event types with a willingness to multi-skill as required
  • Ability to operationally execute, set-up and strike Technology requirements to ensure all equipment is utilised in an efficient manner to deliver event success
  • Demonstrated skill base in one or more genres of the Entertainment Industry, with broad spectrum knowledge of the corporate AV and or entertainment systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Deliver exceptional level of customer service and flexibility in facilitating Client needs
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated appreciation for process while contributing to the team effort of achieving results
  • Maintain a professional personal presentation at all times in a corporate workplace
  • Central CBD Location
  • Willing and able to work on a 24/7 roster
