Senior Audio Technician / Operator

One 20 Productions is one of Perth’s premium audio-visual suppliers. This has been achieved by focusing on all areas of production, as opposed to purely audio, lighting or vision.

We are seeking an experienced SENIOR AUDIO TECHNICIAN / OPERATOR to join our team and be part of a dynamic environment working with some of the best events around Perth.

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years proven live audio event experience across a broad range of events from small scale band and corporate events through to large festivals.
  • Ability to lead a team in order to quickly and efficiently meet deadlines with an eye for detail.
  • Capable of liaising with clients for artist requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of audio console including Digico, Avid, Yamaha & Soundcraft. 
  • Systems experience with Nexo & KV2 Audio preferred but not essential. 
  • Larger System experience desirable with possible expansion of our current system. 
  • Rigging qualifications desired but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills – written & verbal
  • Good understanding of current WHS standards
  • Current C class licence (MR or above is desirable)
  • Proficient computer skills in inventory management software, databases and systems as well as standard office computer software.
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and is positive and proactive

Salary Range $75 –$100K commensurate to experience based upon a 38hr week (seasonal variation). Overtime and penalty rate additional. 

Relocation assistance can be negotiated if required.
