Senior Audio Technician

About this Opportunity:

We are looking for dynamic and passionate Audio Visual professional to join our team as our Senior Audio Visual Technician – Audio.

As an experienced AV Technician, you will join our fast-paced team and work across our three state-of-the-art buildings including our Convention, Exhibition & Theatre. No two days will be the same and you will be instrumental in supporting our extraordinary events come to life. Key responsibilities include:

  • Install, operate, monitor and maintain AV production across all AV applications property wide;
  • Lead AV teams on the floor to provide high quality service for all contracted events at ICC
  • Building and managing line array systems
  • Using Array calc, R1, WWB and R1 software to manage systems
  • Networking
  • Building and managing comms systems
  • Programming and operating Digico and A&H consoles
  • Dante and Qsys control

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years working as a technician or similar desirable;
  • Knowledge and experience within Corporate AV and the live entertainment industry;
  • Able to work autonomously while supervising and guiding others;
  • Specialist knowledge in Audio, with general knowledge across Visual, Lighting, Rigging and Staging advantageous;
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under some pressure;
  • Positive & proactive mindset;
  • Flexibility in working hours.
