JPJ Audio is seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to join our team, based in Homebush. In this role, you will undertake and administer key accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. The successful applicant will have strong analytical skills, sound accounting experience, and the ability to manage a range of financial tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Accounts Payables
• End-to-end management of Accounts Payable.
• Setting up new suppliers.
• Seeking invoice approvals.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders.
• Generating weekly payment runs.
• Expense accounts and credit cards reconciliation.
Accounts Receivables
• Proactively follow up overdue accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Assist with data entry relating to payment allocations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment history.
• Reconcile bank statements daily.
Payroll
• Provide assistance to Payroll Officer, assist with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Preparing and analysing payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
• Receiving and resolving payroll queries in payroll officer’s absence.
Experience & Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll.
• A qualification in Accounting (degree level) is required.
• Proven experience in effectively using payroll systems, ideally Micropay and/or Employment Hero.
• Sound knowledge of credit control processes and techniques.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Experience with ERP system “IFS” is highly desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
