The ULA Group is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic business team.
You will be based in our Victorian Head Office in Port Melbourne. Position is full time, premised on the satisfactory completion of a three (3) month probationary period. You will report to your up line Sales Manager and our National Sales Manager.
Qualities and attributes required:
- Proven strong experience in the audio visual, lighting or related sector
- Provide evidence of current customer/client management practises
- Driven towards new business generating activities, including maintaining high new business call volumes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task
- Excellent customer skills and communication skills
- Available for interstate travel to attend trade exhibitions
- Current ‘Open’ motor vehicle license
- A positive and Can Do attitude
Key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Maintaining and developing an existing customer base
- Visiting clients premises to talk/demonstrate new and existing products
- Issuing quotes and negotiate prices
- Actively participating with the sales team to drive revenue growth and exceed monthly and quarterly targets through lead generation, inclusive of cold calling and active prospecting
- Delivering on a robust prospecting strategy to ensure you are providing leads that will significantly contribute to the business bottom line
- Identifying up-sell opportunities
- Provide technical descriptions of products
- Closing a sale and accurately inputting customer orders
- Liaising and collaborating with clients for sales feedback
- Post sale customer interaction and customer support is mandatory and evidence of such will be required
- Reporting directly to your up line Manager and/or National Sales Manager
