SALES & INSTALLATION MANAGER

$70-100k per annum
Full-time

Concert AV was established by director and owner DJ Joe Sofo in 2002 and has been growing in strength ever since. Concert AV includes a retail & online shop front, hire department, DJ booking service, and Audio Visual Install business. Concert AV looks after many inner-city clubs and restaurants, as well as schools, community groups and churches in the western suburbs. Our hire department looks after anything from DJ consoles to full festival stages, sound, LED screens, and lighting rigs.

The Sales & Installation  Manager oversees all aspects of the business. From quoting installs and account sales, inventory control, staff management, and business development.

OPERATIONS & SCHEDULES

  • Customer and installation quotations
  • In consultation with the Director and Rental Manager develop staff rosters and schedules for both on site and off-site work.
  • Liaise with venue managers for scheduling of works.
  • Look after all compliance needs such as school induction & OHS requirements.
  • Source and book skilled technical contractors for servicing and install of complex audio visual components.
  • Oversee repair and servicing of both internal and external equipment.
  • Oversee long term hires

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Manage both sale income and stock acquisition budgets.
  • Oversee all accounts. Pay bills and outgoings in a timely efficient manner
  • Report and advise the director on both ongoing costs, potential efficiencies, and areas of financial growth.
  • Quote small and large hires. Quote small and large sales

STAFF MANAGEMENT

  • Manage all staff alongside Director.
  • Recruit technical contractors.
  • Recruit and train casual sales  staff.

COMMUNICATION & ADMINISTRATION

Work collaboratively with all staff
Develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, Wholesale suppliers, ongoing Sales accounts, Long term hirers
Maintain and develop all record keeping
Maintain ConcertAV website, Ebay store, and all backend systems

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

At least 5 years experience working in Audio Visual Events in a technical capacity
•Demonstrated team leadership and guidance
•Strong planning and organisational skills
•Excellent time management skills including setting and meeting deadlines
•Demonstrated professional networks with industry suppliers and contractors
•Resilience and ability to work under pressure
•Intermediate to advance knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
•Drivers license

Retail experience

  • Account management experience

•Online sales experience
•Forklift ticket
•Xero software experience
•Dear inventory control software experience
Medium rigid truck license
