DJ City is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Consultant for a full-time position available at our Sydney Smithfield store.
DJ City is Australia’s fastest growing DJ, Lighting, and Pro Audio retailers. Our success is built around our outstanding team of passionate and dedicated staff. We are looking for a enthusiastic friendly outgoing person with a desire to learn and must be motivated.
Some daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
Processing and shipping online orders
Serving customers / counter sales
Managing stock / inventory
Assisting with Preparation / Return of hire equipment
Assisting cleaning and basic maintenance of lighting and audio equipment.
Telephone answering / customer inquiries.
General duties as directed.
Communicate and assist with associated companies.
The successful applicant will have;
• Strong work ethic with a desire to be a part of a high-performance culture and an interest in Sound Lighting and DJ equipment.
• Self motivated, proactive and driven to succeed
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sales role
• Previous experience supporting a sales team (is preferable not required)
• The ability to problem solve
• Experience with Microsoft office software including Word and Excel
• Excellent customer Service and phone manner
• Exceptional communication Skills
• The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience $50k to
$55K plus superannuation + Commissions
