We are currently seeking experienced casual Riggers to join our Technical Team. As a Rigger at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, you will work within a close knit team to install and remove lifting points in our Main Arena, Sports Centre and function areas. You will also install and remove curtains for dressing off backstage areas or unsold seating in the Main Arena and Sports Centre.
You will ensure the rigging equipment is inspected and safe prior to use and report any defective equipment to your supervisor.
To succeed, you will have extensive experience within the rigging industry, be well versed in all rigging and safety equipment and be proactive across all areas of workplace health and safety. You will be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors and managers.
As our business is driven by events, we require flexible individuals who can work a range of shifts.
To be considered, you must hold a current intermediate riggers ticket, general site induction and working at heights certification. Current elevating work platform and forklift licences would be advantageous.
