Supporting signal format testing and test pattern generation, RGBlink has developed the MSP 200Pro signal testing tool. Measuring 214mm x 148mm x 32mm in size and weighing 800g, the portable 2K signal monitor and generator integrates a control touchscreen, which depicts the detected input signal together with the HDMI or optional SD/HD/3G-SDI source.
Onboard signal analysis includes histogram, waveform, vector and audio signal. Switching between static and dynamic test patterns, a timecode can be generated and displayed for a test frame delay.
The design of the MSP 200PRO incorporates a USB media input port for uploading an MPEG4 or image as the testing signal source and Genlock. 3G-SDI, CVBS and DVI output is supported over SMPTE 1080@60, VESA 1920×1080@60 formats, with DVI supporting both HDMI and VGA signals.
