In LSi September 2021, I took an in-depth look at Sennheiser’s EW-D, the company’s addition to its mid-tier digital wireless microphone offerings. This has been a notable release for Sennheiser, enabling its widely-used evolution wireless (EW) system with the benefits of modern digital RF transmission.
Since then, Sennheiser has released the EW-DX series, which is an intermediary solution between EW-D and its flagship Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 series digital systems.
