In March 2019, I reviewed the Robe T1 Profile in this magazine.
At the time, it was one of the very first automated lights to use additive, as opposed to subtractive, colour mixing. Even though I keep wishing additive units would succeed and take over from the white-light-plus-dichroics competition, here we are three years later, and there still aren’t that many on the market.
However, with the introduction of the upgraded Robe T2 Profile we get the opportunity to compare it with the prior generation.
