This year, Martin Audio celebrates its 50th-anniversary supplying professional speaker systems with a strong international reputation. Founded by Dave Martin in 1971, the company has been one of the pioneers in professional and touring sound, introducing technologies such as the folded horn-loaded bass cabinet and the dual-driver midrange horn (see LSi September 2021 for an in-depth feature on Martin Audio’s history). The company’s portfolio now boasts over 100 products, having recently welcomed two new additions – Display 3 software and the Torus constant curvature array – both demo’d for the first time at open days in September.
