Adam Hall Group brand Cameo Lighting has made a big impression with a tiny amount of power in this Technical Focus review, with its innovative new laser light source in a profile luminaire. This is a product that changes all the rules. On the outside, it looks like just another moving profile fixture, but inside, it houses a completely different type of technology that behaves in an entirely new way.
I must admit, I was excited to review a laser light source luminaire. This represents a completely new type of lamp technology for me, and – as someone who studied the emergence of LEDs in my early career – I can already see the inevitable pattern of progress in this new technology too.
Before we get into how it works, I need to share my first impressions, because this is important for anyone else who encounters the Oron H2 and doesn’t go more than skin deep into what it is . . .
