RCF introduces its new MK3 subwoofers — the latest addition to its collection of subwoofers. Featuring a transducer with a high-power ceramic magnetic circuit and a powerful Class-D amplifier, SUB 8003-AS and SUB 905-AS deliver sound pressure levels up to 135dB with outstanding headroom. Featuring high-power woofers of 18″ and 15″ cone size, the new SUB MK3 are the ideal complement to RCF portable active speakers, the company says.
The subwoofer enclosure uses durable all-plywood construction. Its light-weight design with ergonomic carrying handles makes for easy set-up and tear down. The M20 pole mount on top supports speaker cabinets further extending its versatility. The heavy-duty polyurea coating and powder-coated metal grille protects from wear and environmental elements.
RCF’s improvements in transducer design make them robust and more powerful, the company says, able to deliver perfect clarity even at full level. Bass Motion Control algorithms handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity at any volume.
The SUB Series MK3 subwoofers also come equipped with rear panel controls, including volume, EQ, polarity, and crossover frequency, giving users complete control over their sound. The rugged cabinet makes it easy to carry and secure for installation, while its versatility, sound quality, and high power make it well-suited for small to mid-sized venues and portable applications.
