Brisbane Sound Group (BSG) is looking for a full-time Audio Visual Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team, with a strong focus on professional lighting and live production systems.

Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our sales team, working across professional lighting, audio, and vision solutions.
Your day will include:
- Sales & Customer Support – Assisting customers in-store, over the phone, and online with quotations, product advice, and order updates. Recommending solutions that balance technical requirements and budget.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations – Providing demonstrations in our showroom or on-site, explaining lighting systems, control, rigging and integration in a way that suits each client’s experience level.
- Supplier & Inventory Coordination – Liaising with suppliers on pricing and availability, managing stock levels, and suggesting new product lines.
- Team Collaboration – Working closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain displays, and provide technical support when needed.
- Continuous Learning – Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging lighting technology, and participating in ongoing product training.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in sales within the professional audio, lighting, AV or entertainment industry (preferred but not essential).
- Strong working knowledge of stage lighting systems, control platforms, and live production workflows.
- Broad understanding of professional audio, vision, and studio equipment (advantageous).
- The ability to problem-solve and deliver solutions that suit both technical needs and budget requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confidence negotiating with customers and suppliers.
- Solid computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays (once a month, or as needed)
Required Licenses:
- Open C Class Driver’s licence
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
Bonus (Nice to have):
- Forklift licence
