Production / Touring Manager

Rehearsals/touring/performance season: 26 August – 14 Sept 2019.  Min. engagement 3.5 weeks.  Additional hours have been allocated for pre & post production.  Must be Sydney-based.

Shaun Parker & Company (SP&Co) is seeking a reliable and efficient Production/Touring manager for IN THE ZONE,  its new work for young audiences and the education sector, which includes use of AirSticks, co-designed by Dr Alon Ilsar.  They should be a great communicator and team player.  The Production/Touring Manager will be responsible for planning and supervising the production and technical aspects of IN THE ZONE, including supporting the creative development, rehearsal, lighting desk/sound operation (if required) and ensuring the smooth use of AirSticks which uses Ableton software, driving the tour vehicle, bump in and professional presentation of IN THE ZONE, for touring to Western Sydney venues, including primarily Camden Civic Centre, for school and public performances.   Reporting to and working cohesively with the Associate Producer, and working cohesively with the Artistic Director, other creatives and dancers, they will ensure that IN THE ZONE is presented to the highest quality, on time, within the allocated resources and in consideration of occupational health and safety requirements.
