Production Supervisor

Full time
Salary Range: $76,281.40 – $88,003.24 per annum

The Production Supervisor position is a core role of the Operations and Technical Team that is responsible for all operational and production support for the Arts Precincts activities, including performances and events. The Technical team is responsible for ensuring all production aspects of the venue and equipment is maintained and improved in line with procurement policies and industry standards, and to facilitate all production-related operational duties for events at the highest professional standards.

Duties
• Responsible for the pre-production coordination and delivery of all production services at a high-volume event-days performing arts venue
• Oversee and maintain continuous improvement documentation of technical and OHS processes, with assistance from the Venue Technician, where required
• Responsible for coordinating scheduled periodic and ad-hoc equipment maintenance and upgrades, and associated rostering and training of staff
• Develop proficiency in venue management system (Ungerboeck) as the key source for recording all production-related event information (for which training will be provided)

Skills & Experience
• Competence and working knowledge in all production discipline areas of the live performance industry
• Excellent time-management skills, ability to multitask, and meet set deadlines
• Excellent client and artist liaison communication and administration skills, with a broader understanding of the industry sector
• Excellent innovative and creative problem-solving skills
• Be a proactive, flexible and motivated team member
