We are currently seeking an experienced person in event or production coordination to join our Drone Lightshow operation. This is an agile hands-on role that will require you to work outdoors in a team, assist with conducting drone light shows, identify and solve problems, and liaise between senior pilot and ground crew; with safety as a priority. We’ll teach you how to use our software to fly hundreds of drones. This role is well suited to someone with a process-driven, technical mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and adhering to event run sheets
- Directing and assisting crew to setup and pack-down of drone equipment
- Assisting in the operation of drone light show system
- Directing communication between stakeholders
- Reporting issues to the senior remote pilot in command
- Conducting maintenance and preparation activities
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in theatre/productions/events
- Proven success of productions in a stage manager or similar role
- RePL+AROC or some experience operating drones preferred but not required
Skills:
- Technical mindset and ability to follow procedures
- Proficient in learning new software applications quickly
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Expected working days are Tuesday to Saturday and include nights, however flexibility to your schedule is required and time provided in lieu.
- Current driver’s licence and own car.
- Travel will be occasionally required.
