About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and forward-thinking Production Manager – Virtual Events to join our team. This role will be responsible for working with our clients in the final stages of the event process to ensure a smooth delivery of their content on event day. This will include finalising event run sheets, compiling content, audio visual checks with speakers and studio set ups, all leading to actually broadcasting the event live via the Delegate Connect Platform on event day.
We are looking for someone with audio visual experience who has an understanding of how to deliver conference and event content. You will need to be able to make quick decisions under pressure, be a good problem solver and ultimately have the confidence to take control of the event delivery.
This role will be based in our Broadcast Centre in Hawthorn East, Melbourne. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, there will be an element of working from home.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in live event technology, preferably with a specialisation in vision switching/live camera operation
- Knowledge of basic networking technologies a plus
- Solid knowledge of PVP/ProPresenter/QLab/Resolume and/or other vision software packages
- Experience sequencing content from run sheets
- Basic video editing experience in Premiere or similar a plus
- Working knowledge of advanced PowerPoint/Keynote skills
- Solid knowledge of video codes/transit technologies
- Experience in IP broadcast technologies a bonus
- Great understanding of technology and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
