About the role
As the Production Manager (Programs and Events) you will lead and coordinate the delivery of a comprehensive music and performing arts program for the Faculty. You will collaborate with academic and professional staff to plan, budget and oversee delivery of regular music, dance, music theatre and theatre programs and productions.
You will manage a team within Programs and Operations including production, technical, digital and workshop staff who facilitate the teaching and learning programs delivered by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Working closely and liaising with the Production and technical Services Manager and staff across the Faculty, University, and the Arts Industry, you will provide leadership across all performance and production areas.
About you
You are an effective leader, able to utilise your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders, collaborate within a wider team, and manage and motivate staff to successfully achieve outcomes. You have demonstrated success in arts administration and event management within the music and performing arts industry, and are excited by the prospect of working in an educational environment.
You have or a progressing towards Postgraduate qualifications, with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
