PRODUCTION MANAGER

Are you an experienced and passionate Production Manager or technician with relevant experience looking for the next step in your career? As the industry we love recovers from a tough couple of years we have a series of exciting projects coming to life and are now looking for a dedicated, self motivated and passionate Production Manager to join our team working across a series of venues, concerts and music festivals!

Working under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer the Production Manager is a specialist in advancing, negotiating and managing the supply of production equipment to enable successful event delivery to the highest standards within assigned budgets.

Day to day you will:

  • Liaise with Agents, Tour Managers and Touring Production Managers to ensure artist requirements align with venue/event supplied equipment
  • Facilitate and manage supplementary equipment when required
  • Be the on-site contact for touring parties at all events in specific venues from the beginning of load in to the end of load out
  • Engage and manage contractors for production matters (suppliers, technicians, etc)
  • Manage event budgets and negotiate supplier contracts of varying sizes
  • Chair and contribute to all appropriate meetings
  • Create and distribute reports for senior management and external contract companies as required
  • Work with venue and event managers to build on service delivery standards
  • Create, implement and manage safe work practices and WHS processes
  • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously towards group goals and timelines set out in project management software
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and adhere to company culture and values at all times
  • Ensure clear and effective communication in all activities
  • Understand that Five Four Entertainment is a truly collaborative workplace and from time to time you may be required to complete work outside of the core deliverables of this position

This is a true lifestyle job and is suited to someone who is passionate about events and wants to continue to grow their skillset. The workload will fluctuate around events so high levels of time management skills are required along with flexibility around working hours including weekend work. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Industry experience relevant to the requirement of the position and nature of events that we host
  • A fun and “can do” attitude to not only support the business outcomes but also provide a positive impact on the business culture and the services we bring to our clients
