Production Manager

Love bringing the bells and whistles, creating a mean floor plan and stacking a lighting rig to rival a KISS concert? (We know… that wasn’t the most current rock and roll reference…)

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes production to take our performances and parties and bring them to fruition.

As Production Manager you’ll be overseeing all the technical elements across our Fringe-produced events and spaces for the 2022 Melbourne Fringe Festival, from our Festival Hub and Club Fringe to our Signature Events out and about in our fair city. You’ll chat to contracted artists about tech specs and rehearsals to ensure their big visions make it to the stage; source and hire equipment; coordinate suppliers and contractors; and manage bump-in and bump-out, all the while making sure we tick all those important boxes for permits, safety regulations and Risk Management.

This is an opportunity to sink your teeth into a meaty (or plant-based) Festival contract that allows you to be across all aspects of tech and production – from the paperwork and the plans to the lights, camera, action.

So, if you know your way around techs, specs and decks, and can track down a supplier in no time, then this could be the gig for you. Read more or apply below, applications close 5pm 14 March.
