The Production Manager is a member of the company’s leadership team. They ensure all aspects of production management and planning align with, and reinforce, ADT’s Strategic Plan, Artistic Plan, Policies and Procedures.
The Production Manager will lead and co-ordinate the production team for all ADT’s productions. The role will support creative teams to reach their artistic vision to the highest possible standards within the parameters of the venue, budget and timeframe set by the company.
Key Accountabilities include;
• Development of production schedules, plans and budgets
• Development of overarching annual production plan to identify key milestones for production resourcing and delivery
• Leadership of Production Meetings
• Creation of theatre/venue plans and guides for artistic and non-artistic team members
• Ensure venue, equipment, WHS, COVID and other operational matters are considered and integrated into Production plans
• Engagement and leadership of Production casuals
• Active management of Production budgets
• Collaborate with creatives and other members of the technical team to oversee the manufacturing of all production elements including sets, props, costumes and technological elements in a timely manner and within budget
• Purchase, record, maintain and store Production assets and equipment
• Ensure a safe environment for technical staff, dancers and creatives in the rehearsal studio and performance venues
• Collaboratively develop tour plans, schedules and budgets
• Manage Production freight logistics (including engagement of freight companies nationally and internationally as required for company activities)
• Proactively engage with venue technical team, ensuring they have up to date technical specifications and schedules
• Manage all technical operations and logistics for tours.
