Production Manager

Join the team at Australia’s National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) to develop, manage and implement all things production as the Production Manager.  NICA is a Centre of Excellence in contemporary circus arts and is looking for someone oversee the production department, provide expertise and support to students, staff and contractors, and manage efficiently the safe and economical use of resources.

This hands-on role includes cost-effective planning, working collaboratively on productions with the academic team and creatives, both internal and external, whilst providing leadership and strong management of the technical delivery.

The Production Manager will have high level management skills including a wide range of practical skills across theatrical techniques including lighting, audio and visual systems utilised in circus productions.

The Production Manager will be an excellent communicator, a creative and practical problem solver, have a keen attention to detail and exceptionally high standards of delivery

This is an exciting opportunity for a team player who is dedicated to the performing arts and circus artform and enhancing the learning, working and audience experience of the students, staff and fans of this unique institute.

Please note that it is currently a condition of entry into our workplace and venues that all staff and visitors are required to be fully vaccinated. If you are successful for the role, you will need to provide proof of your vaccination certification.
