Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (inclusive of superannuation) – salary package dependant on experience

Location: Based in Darwin, but will be required to travel throughout the Northern Territory

Dreamedia Events is a production company that is focused on serving the technical requirements for the events industry in the Northern Territory. Our production company focuses on Audio, Lighting, Vision, LED, Ground supports and Staging. We have a separate audio installation business, a full-service creative agency, a transport business, and an event management branch and of course, Dreamedia Events is the production company…all working under one roof serving our clients in the NT. Like many companies we are on the bounce back from COVID and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual that will enjoy the challenge of re-building the production department, our staffing, our process and procedures.
Position Summary
The production manager will be responsible for managing and implementing all technical aspects of Dreamedia Events productions. You will be responsible for rostering, staffing, budgets, process and procedures, training, design and creative on all shows.
Position requirements
- 5 + years of industry experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience delivering technical design
- Experience with safety
- Experienced in planning, scoping and delivering shows
- Vector Works or CAD experience is crucial
Roles and responsibilities: –
- Lead and collaborate with current technicians on our staff
- Establish production requirements are achievable within show budgets and bump in, execute and bump out.
- Oversee weekly production schedules posted with our admin production team
- Oversee the maintenance schedule for all equipment in the factory
- Oversight and responsibility staffing the production division.
- Deliver the highest professional production standards for our business here in the NT.
Safety
- Ensure our team are following all aspects of the production safety.
- Oversee with our admin team the preparation of show-specific OH&S documentation including Risk Assessments and Safe Work Practices.
