KEY INFORMATION
1.0FTE position, $68,000 (dependent on experience) plus super and phone allowance
Reporting to Executive Producer
37.5 hours per week, flexible arrangements negotiable
12 month contract with possibility of extension
Based across King Street Arts Centre, Perth CBD, Maylands Hall and various venues as required

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our never-say-never team, who aligns with our company values.
You’ll be collaborative, technically knowledgeable, and have outstanding communication skills. You’ll be enthusiastic about being part of our exciting, dynamic theatre company and have a genuine, positive attitude. This role would suit a highly organised and outcomes driven person who can put together a team of experts to achieve our artistic vision.

SELCTION CRITERIA
Essential:
Demonstrated experience in managing technical production and administration in a live performance, arts and/or events context.
A proactive attitude and capacity to problem solve technical issues for new work and work in development.
Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
Outstanding people management and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of relevant WHS standards and awareness of industry related reviews or changes
Current driver’s licence, National Police Clearance Certificate, and Working with Children Check (obtainable on offer of employment).
Desirable:
An affinity with the arts, in particular contemporary theatre, interactive design and film.
Staff and contractor management
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
First Aid Certificate
Restricted Electrical License
Beginner or Intermediate Rigger ticket
EWP ticket
Working knowledge of contemporary technical software including QLab and/or Ableton Live.
