Sport for Jove (SFJ) is a multi-award-winning theatre company with a reputation as one of NSW’s pre-eminent classical theatre companies.

SFJ is seeking a Production Manager to join our team in the delivery of our exciting in theatre Education Season.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Coordinate, manage and implement all technical, venue specific logistical and operational requirements for productions in coordination with the Artistic Director and Executive Producer.
- Produce and manage production schedules developing project timelines and be responsible for the continued review and updating of these project and performance schedules.
- Provide technical advice within agreed budgets developed or overseen by the Executive Producer.
- Coordinate and oversee production personnel including SM, ASM, and hired crew/interns.
- Liaise with peer production staff as to the use of in-house resources.
- Liaise with and provide information relevant to other SFJ departments including Management, Marketing, Finance and Box Office.
- Identify hazards and produce a risk assessment
- Where necessary, operate/call the performances
- Other duties and tasks as directed by the Executive Producer and Artistic Director in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
Pre-production work can be done remotely or in the SFJ office. The Production Manager must be able to commit to these dates; flexibility will be considered where presence is not absolutely required (eg some rehearsals).
The fee for our Education Season includes Super (position is not full time, performance weeks usually consist of 3 tech days and 2-3 performance days).
