Production Manager

Marquee Sydney is the third nightclub to join the family after the famed Marquee New York and Marquee Las Vegas. Calvin Harris, Drake, Avicii, Tiesto, Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren are just some of the top tier artists that have graced the decks at Marquee Sydney and kept it at the forefront of international dance music.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Nightclub Operations you will be responsible for all audio and visual (AV) requirements for Marquee at The Star.

Duties

• Operate (AV) equipment during operations
• Maintain a customer focus at all times, to continuously deliver a thrilling experience in line with The Star’s service culture
• Purchase, install and maintain technical lighting and sound equipment
• Manage the day to day technical services requirements
• Analyse and interpret production plans, including sets and designs for performances
• Manage and report on a AV budget, contractors, labour and associated cost
• Liaise with engineering and contractors regarding the maintenance of all technical equipment
• Manage the roster and wages
• Ensure equipment is operational at all times

The Requirements

• Technical qualifications in audio, lighting and set design desirable
• Solid experience in production management
• Understanding of technical industry requirements in production, safety and procurement
• Available to work Tuesday through Saturday
