Bangarra Dance Theatre is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join the team in its Sydney office in Barangaroo. This is a full-time, two-year contract and presents a rare opportunity to join Australia’s leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts company.
The Production Manager is responsible for the realisation of all the technical elements of a production and ensures the most effective utilisation of people, resources and systems within the agreed budget, schedule and parameters. Central to this position is also the role of maintenance, safety, construction and upkeep of venue and productions.
The role will also provide staging support to ensure smooth running of all Bangarra Dance Theatre productions, events and functions, including pre-production, rehearsal, and bump in/out periods.
The Production Manager reports to the Director, Technical & Production.
