Perth Symphony Orchestra is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Production Manager to join our passionate team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable performances and productions across Western Australia.
As Production Manager you will oversee the logistical and technical planning of all PSO concerts and events—from intimate chamber performances to large-scale productions. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and artistic team, managing production timelines, coordinating crew and suppliers, and ensuring every element of the performance runs smoothly and safely.
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive individual with hands-on experience in live event production—ideally within the performing arts. Your ability to problem-solve, communicate clearly, and coordinate complex events will be critical to your success.
The Role
As Production Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage production logistics for all PSO concerts and events—on stage and behind the scenes.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and key artistic leads to realise each production’s creative vision.
- Develop and manage production schedules, run sheets, and event timelines.
- Coordinate crew, venues, suppliers, transport, and technical requirements.
- Oversee production budgets and manage procurement, invoicing, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and risk management practices.
- Provide clear and timely communication to all stakeholders involved in production.
- Represent PSO with professionalism and creativity, championing innovation and excellence in every detail.
About You
