With performances in 39 countries since 2006 and confirmed international tour bookings into 2019, Circa is seeking a Production Manager to help deliver our vision of producing the best quality work for audiences in Australia and abroad.
In the role you will be part of a team responsible for the planning and delivery of all the production requirements for the company’s productions around the world. This office and touring role encompasses technical planning and hands-on delivery of multiple productions. You will step seamlessly between coordinating production schedules, freight, lighting and sound and overseeing truck packs while organising all elements for the production and touring side of Circa.
This role requires enthusiasm, communication skills, excellent problem solving and negotiation skills as well as a flexible attitude to duties and responsibilities and working hours. Candidates from any background will be considered with a preference given to those with theatrical/dance/circus experience. Applicants holding rigging and technical drawing qualifications are encouraged to apply but it is not mandatory for the position. Most importantly, you will be passionate, tireless and unflappable.
