Production Coordinator

Life Like Touring (LLT) is one of the world’s leading producers of ticketed Family events including; PAW Patrol Live!, Pixar Putt, Peppa Pig Playdate, Peppa Pig Live!, Zedtown, Octonauts Live, Sesame Street Presents Elmo’s Super Fun Hero Show, Dora the Explorer Live, Scooby-Doo Live, The Monster, Chuggington Live, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, Ben 10 Live! and Yo Gabba Gabba Live! The business licenses leading family brands and develops content from conception right through writing, design, building, presentation and promotion. The business self-promotes events in domestic markets (Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom) and works with promoter/partners to present events globally.

The Role

As the Production Coordinator LLT, you will be responsible for the support and delivery of a broad range of TEG Life Like Touring and TEG Life Like Company shows, tours, events and experiences. The role will primarily work in conjunction with the Executive Producers, Creative Producer and Production Manager in the delivery of production goals across international and domestic live touring shows, short-run main stage theatre productions, touring events or exhibitions and other special events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and contracting of cast, production staff and management for LLT projects.
  • Timely coordination and booking of all international and domestic travel, accommodation, visas, logistics and transfers as required for all LLT domestic and international tours for cast, production staff, relevant international stakeholders and the LLT team.
  • Research and preparation of Tour Books/Schedules for domestic and international tours.
  • Coordination and management of ticketing for domestic tours including managing ticketing builds, managing ticketing requirements once projects are on sale and acting as the point of contact for all ticketing, house seat and complimentary ticket requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Management of tour routing in association with the Executive Producers for LLT self-promoted projects to maximise efficiency and meet relevant budgetary goals.
  • Assist and participate in planning, budgeting and general vetting of potential future projects and development opportunities for LLT.
  • Administrative and production support to the Creative Producer, Executive Producer and Production Manager both in the office and on site as required to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all LLT projects.
  • Development and maintenance of good working relationships with team members, contractors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination of company and tour documents including contact lists, schedules, internal reporting and file management.

The Person

To be successful you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in arts management (preferred, but not essential)
  • A high level of attention to detail across all disciplines.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once within a small team.
  • A high level of computer and online literacy skills including experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of theatrical productions, arena productions, exhibitions and/or events.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem-solve challenges within the context of live entertainment and to remain calm under pressure.
  • A passion for the arts and creative industries.
