Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator oversees all operational activities under the scope of live production and is responsible for ensuring that all these activities are delivered to expected levels of quality.

When required, you will assist the Specialist team in advising sales and planning teams in the design of technical services in AV production area. The Production Coordinator will be required at times to provide cover for the Production Manager and take on all or some areas of their responsibility.

The role will be a split of office-based tasks and providing technical expertise on the floor. Floor duties may involve assisting and coordinating crew with setting and operating equipment that is within the remit of the discipline, or other duties as required. 

What you’re here to do

  • Provide direction to technicians, service managers and coordinators, in the use and operation of equipment. 
  • Review the movement of cross-hired technology equipment and communicate. 
  • Support the specialist team in the implementation and maintenance of systems to ensure we align ourselves with industry-standard practices.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in show ready state and is compliant with the AMAF schedule.
  • Produce SWMS and other safety documentation for specialist-related activities.
  • Expert direction to technicians and delivery team in the use and operation of relevant equipment 
  • Assist the Specialist team in any areas relating to customers that is required.

What you will need

  • Construction Card
  • EWP license
  • Applicable high risk work license’s
  • Extensive Experience in a broad range of disciplines within the AV industry
  • Proven capability in leading technical teams
  • Vectorworks or CAD experience
  • Coordinating multiple complex large scale and intricate events 
  • Integration and streamlining of production systems.
  • Availability to work overnight, weekend and long shifts when required.
