Do you love new theatre and working with artists, designers, and other creatives in a hands-on capacity? Malthouse Theatre is looking for our next Production Coordinator to join our Production team.
The Production Coordinator’s role is to facilitate the smooth running of the production department, including working with stage management, liaising on incoming productions, and undertaking production management duties as required. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator works with all members of the Production team to ensure the efficient delivery of all productions and works co-operatively with all Malthouse Theatre staff.
This role requires a high level of organisation, with the ability to forward plan, coordinate projects and prioritise workflow in a high-pressure, collaborative environment. Experience in a performing arts organisation and particularly in the areas of scheduling and production processes will be highly regarded.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at The Malthouse in Melbourne. Due to the nature of theatrical work, evening and weekend work will be required.
Salary offer: $70,000 p/a pro-rata, plus superannuation, staff discounts, complimentary tickets, and other benefits.
