Production Assistant
Council is seeking to appoint a casual Production Assistant to contribute to Council’s success.
- Fast paced and diverse role
- Deliver the region’s largest community events
- Based at the Gladstone Entertainment & Convention Centre
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the production team in the day-to-day production operations of the GECC and Events & Entertainment external events.
Your role will include:
- Promoting a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture and ensure active compliance
- Working with the GECC’s Production team to deliver a wide range of internal and external community events
- Working in a high paced environment with GECC’s event roster including a wide variety of hours and days
You will bring:
- Demonstrated high level of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, to engage with a diverse client base.
- Problem solving skills to effectively address technical matters within your areas of knowledge, prior to escalating to the Supervisor.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Working with Children Blue Card or must be eligible and willing to attain on appointment.
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR or ability to attain on appointment.
- Legally able to drive a manual motor vehicle in Queensland.
