We are looking for someone who loves production, technical and venue management. You are passionate about collaborating with emerging and experimental artists and supporting them to fulfill their creative vision. You have experience in production and venue management, and know your way around a lighting and sound rig. You might have experience and only looking for a part-time role or you might be an emerging Production Manager who wants to develop their skills in a high energy, vibrant and fast-paced arts organisation. The Production and Venue Manager position is a key role in the PACT team and is responsible for managing the technical and production logistics of the program (presentation seasons and creative developments). The Production and Venue Manager is responsible for providing and scheduling technical, practical support and front of house staff required for pre-production, delivery and post event stages. This role provides support to the General Manager in the practical management and maintenance of the venue and its events. This position is also the point of contact for all matters regarding the building.
Working hours will range between 15-40 hours depending on what is programmed into the venue e.g. PACT Presents work will require longer hours. Evening and weekend work is a requirement of this position.
