About the Role
Sydney Grammar School is seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced Production and Technical Coordinator to join our College St campus. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires flexibility due to the nature of the productions and School events.
The Production and Technical Coordinator reports to the Deputy Headmaster (Co-Curricular), and the successful candidate will be required to assist the Head of Drama (Academic), Director of Co-Curricular Drama, and Director of Music in planning organising, and executing of productions and events, focusing on the coordination and scheduling aspects.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of other School events that require technical or production support.
- Ensure coordination with the AV team to provide technical assistance for smaller events, assemblies, or lectures.
- Collaborate with the AV team to ensure maintenance of all production-related equipment (lighting, sound, staging), with regular checks and updates conducted.
- Proficiency in operating sound and lighting desks, with experience in managing technical aspects of live performances, including sound mixing and lighting setups.
