Production Administration Assistant

The Role

Are you ready for an exciting new role in our Production and Presenter Services department?

The Production Administration Assistant provides effective administrative support in the delivery of high-quality services and experiences for presenters, hirers and tenants.  

Working alongside the Production and Presenter Services teams, the Production Administration Assistant provides support to ensure all technical information is collected in a timely manner and that information is clearly communicated to the relevant departments. 

Essential qualifications and experience
To be successful in this position, you will have:
•    Experience in events or venue administration in a cultural sector organisation (or related field).
•    Experience in managing customer expectations and identifying customer needs.
•    Proficiency with computers, particularly the Microsoft Office 365 suite
•    Ability to work autonomously in a small team environment
•    Highly developed communication and engagement skills and the ability to establish productive working relationships with a variety of people.

Desirable qualifications and experience
•    Skills and knowledge in the end-to-end administration of event services and event management systems and software. 
•    Experience working with event management software, rostering software and/or raising purchase orders

Special requirements
•    Flexibility in working hours to support daytime, evening, and some weekend work will be required as part of the normal hours of duty for this position. 
•    The following checks, licences and certifications are required for this role:
o    Current and valid Working with Children’s Check (employee)
o    Victorian Drivers Licence (advising any qualifications, conditions or restrictions)
The employee must provide evidence that they hold current certifications prior to commencing employment with Geelong Arts Centre.  The employee must maintain currency of these checks, licences and certifications for the duration of their employment with Geelong Arts Centre.
