Eventec, a leading importer and distributor of professional entertainment products is looking to fill a newly created role to compliment the businesses’ continued growth within the industry. The new role of Product Specialist / Manager would see the successful applicant join the vibrant Eventec team and focus on maintaining and developing the product range as well as providing support for products to clients and users as required.
This position requires the person to be able to learn and understand new ideas and concepts, possess a great sense of attention to detail and be motivated and driven to achieve results. Previous experience in the use or supply of entertainment lighting would be essential in order to successfully carry out this role.
Summary of duties includes, but is not limited to:-
- Supporting the development of new products
- Improving the development of existing products
- Improving product quality and consistency
- Managing the launch of new products
- Planning and assisting with new product releases and events
- Maintain and complete documentation for all product related activities including use and safety
- Maintain marketing assets for all product related activities
- Ensuring product designs and packaging are uniform and are suitable for the users and market.
- Maintain and perform demonstration of products
- Leading internal and external audits of the products
- Assisting users in operation and use of products
- Ensuring complete accessories and fixture range is complete
- Advising sales and marketing departments of product use to improve sales
This is a full-time position located at our office and warehouse in Wetherill Park in western Sydney. Remuneration is pursuant to experience.
