Powersoft has announced the launch of Nota, a new compact PoE/PoE+ power amplifier designed to meet the varied needs of AV system integrators and integrate into a range of networked audio environments, and it’s being showcased at the 2025 ISE Show at Fira Barcelona Gran Via at stand #7E700.
Nota is stated to provide 140 watts of audio power across two channels in a pocked-sized footprint. It offers the ability to transmit power and data via a single Ethernet connection, which can streamline installation, reduce costs and minimize wiring complexity.
It includes on-board DSP capabilities, loudspeaker health monitoring and full control via both Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software and third-party APIs. USB-C connectivity allows integration with external multimedia devices, doubling as a USB-to-AES67 converter for added flexibility, while its automated set-up automatically matches the impedance curve of connected loudspeakers and applies a high-pass filter to help optimized sound quality and help protect loudspeakers from potential damage.
Nota is rated for plenum mounting in enclosed spaces, and the provided kit allows multiple installation configurations on flat surfaces, poles and DIN rails. Additionally, remote monitoring via Powersoft’s Verso gateway and MyUniverso software provides real-time diagnostics from anywhere.
