Phaseshift Productions put their new LED High Bays to the test at the 2016 Ice Hockey Classic – USA vs Canada games held at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
With traditional high bays being fairly inefficient, difficult to control and having slow start up times, designer/operator Alex Saad was after a reliable fixture that would be effective at providing a well distributed and uniform light in a large sporting arena.
“I was looking for something reliable and consistent and in a word they were fantastic,” he remarked.
Featuring a 60° wide beam, a bright cool white light and producing 16000 lumens, the LED High Bays stand up against any flood. While they don’t have DMX capabilities yet, that is something that Phaseshift are looking into incorporating.
Perfect for any large scale sporting event, the light-weight, functional design allows for easy rigging and brilliant results.
